Falls Park on the Reedy

Whether you are a first time visitor or a life long resident, everyone loves to visit downtown Greenville's main attraction...Liberty Bridge at Falls Park. The unique site was built to honor the founder of Liberty Corporation, W. Frank Falls Park entranceHipp, and Liberty Bridge at Falls Parkhis children for their contributions to our wonderful community. Like many of Greenville's recreational "common areas," the bridge was funded by the hospitality tax (a tax on restaurants and hotels in Greenville), which is used for tourism related facilities and enhancements. The bridge was constructed over a period of a year by Taylor and Murphy Construction Company of Asheville, N.C., designed by Boston architect Miquel Rosales, and engineered by Schlaich Bergmann.
Area residents, visitors, and folks from all over are constantly amazed by the sites and facilities that Greenville has to offer and Falls Park never fails to impress as well. Don't miss a chance to take in a meal at a local restaurant downtown and save some time to stroll down to the West end of town to see the site. You will not be disappointed.
